Can someone lead me in the right direction?
I plan on moving to Oregon sometime this year, and would like to know a few things. I work in the vet field, and would like to know of good veterinary hospitals I can apply to. Websites, or general info are appreciated. Also: Good community colleges/universities that offer great biology and zoology programs.
I am going to apply for a job, and hopefully get on before I make the move. I'm really interested in either moving to Portland, or Eugene.
Thanks a bunch!
Well I think OSU in Corvalis has the main vet school in the state. All the local community colleges around here are fairly decent, and so much cheaper for those first 2 years!
Eugene has U of O, but its not so much into the biology etc side of things.
Currently Oregon has one of the higher unemployment rates in the country, partially due to its dependence on high-tech jobs. The cost of living in the Portland area is rather high considering the wages that people make.
i live in michigan. the unemployment rates here are even higher i believe.
thank-you for the info!

Yes, and I think that OSU has a reciprocal agreement with UC Davis.
OSU is in Corvallis.
